Nestled in the midst of the historical Kilmartin Glen, in the hamlet of Slockavullin, awaits this stone built end of terrace cottage offering family accommodation for four.
This stone built cottage was built at the turn of the eighteenth century as part of the development of the Poltalloch Estate, providing estate workers with improved housing. The cottage has been upgraded over the years and is now a very cosy retreat in the scenic countryside of Argyll.
The property has one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, both with coombed ceilings on the upper floor.

Downstairs is a bathroom with toilet and shower over the bath, a large kitchen/diner with cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine. A comfortable living room overlooking the garden with an open fire and colour television and video.

The stonewall-enclosed garden has seating for a quiet moment to enjoy the little flowerbed-surrounded lawn.

Linen and towels are provided along with electricity and oil for the central heating. Logs are usually available for the open fire, if not, coal is provided.
Slockavullin is situated approximately one and a half miles from the village of Kilmartin with its' historical church and award winning museum and cafe. Also in the village there is a shop/post office and a child friendly hotel providing excellent meals.
The town of Lochgilphead is 8 miles away with shops, banks, swimming pool and golf course. The busy port of Oban is 30 miles to the north.
Mid Argyll has lots of fun activities for everyone. It is rich in pre-history, standing stones and Neolithic burial cysts abound the beautiful Kilmartin valley.
There are many forest walks and cycle tracts with plenty of wildlife to spot, fishing, boat trips and islands to visit along with golf courses and gardens.
